Gosia Cooks: Noodles with cabbage and mushrooms
Noodles with cabbage and mushrooms is a surprising and delicious combination of aromatic mushrooms with the acidity of sauerkraut and small squares noodles. It tastes good not only for Christmas!
INGREDIENTS:
- 200 g of small squares noodles.
- 50 g of dried mushrooms
- 500 g of sauerkraut
- 1 onion
- oil for frying
- spices: salt and pepper, a teaspoon of sugar
Tips
- Wash the mushrooms under running water and soak for several hours, preferably overnight in cold water. Boil them in soaking water for about 20 minutes. Strain.
- Rinse the cabbage twice in a sieve, drain it and chop it coarsely.
- Dice the peeled onion.
- Fry the onion in a frying pan. Add the cabbage and spices. Stir fry for a minute.
- Add mushrooms cut into smaller pieces of mushrooms. Then pour about 3/4 cup of water. Cover and boil for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Then uncover and cook for 10 more minutes until the water has evaporated.
- Mix with the previously cooked noodles.
