Gosia Cooks for Christmas: Almond moons cookies
Easy, fast, delicious – in these three words we can describe Almond cookies from Gosia’s recipe. And when there is never too much time during Christmas preparations, it sounds like a perfect recipe 😍.
INGREDIENTS:
PIE:
- 250 g of flour
- 210 g of butter
- 100 g of grated almonds
- (almond flour or sliced almonds)
- 70 g of sugar
- 1 yolk
ACCESSORIES:
- powdered sugar and sugar with real vanilla to coat cookies
Tips:
- Put all the ingredients for the dough into a bowl, if you use flaked almonds, grind them first into flour in a blender.
Knead the dough and divide it into 4 smaller portions. We cool in the fridge.
- Take the cooled cake out of the fridge, make 4 rolls of the same thickness and length, and cut them
with a knife, each roller for 8 small portions.
Then, from each small piece we make a ball, and then a roll, thinner at the ends, like the moon. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake the cookies for about 13-15 minutes at 175 ° C.
After baking, the cookies are very delicate. We wait for them to cool down a little and coat them in powdered sugar mixed with sugar with real vanilla.
Cookies can be stored very well in metal cookie boxes.
