Gosia Cooks for Christmas: Roasted duck legs

Roast duck will taste great at a gala dinner on the first or second day of Christmas. It’s not as hard to do as it may seem. However, a unique bouquet of flavors will definitely delight the palates of your guests.

INGREDIENTS:

STUFFING:

  • 4 duck legs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt, pepper, fresh rosemary
  • 4 apples
  • a handful of fresh cranberries
  • cranberry for meat (230 g jar)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Tips:

  1. Season the thighs with salt and pepper, rub with pressed garlic and cover with twigs
rosemary. Place the skin side up in an ovenproof dish and cover it tightly with the lid
(if you do not have a lid, wrap the dish with aluminum foil).

Bake the meat for 70 minutes
in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.

  1. Cut the upper part of the apples with the tail and hollow the seed nest.

3 At the end of baking, decant the fat that has melted from the duck, add apples, fresh cranberries and smear the thighs with melted butter.

Bake everything together for about 15 minutes, uncovered.

  1. Serve the baked duck thighs with your favorite side dishes, such as baked potatoes, red
    cabbage.

We fill the baked apples with the cranberries from the jar and the freshly baked one.

Enjoy your meal! 🙂
