Gosia Cooks: White Sausage Meatballs in mustard sauce
White sausage meatballs in mustard sauce are a proposal for an Easter dinner that will find its supporters, especially among those who are looking for a completely new version of white sausage. You have to admit – it looks great.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of raw white sausage
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 500ml of broth
- 5tbsp cream 18%
- 5tablespoons of French mustard
Spices: salt, white pepper, marjoram
Tips:
Squeeze the sausage into a large bowl. Add the egg, garlic squeezed through the press. Season to taste with salt, pepper and marjoram. Mix the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Form meatballs. Fry in oil in a hot frying pan.
Melt the butter in a pot, add the flour and mix thoroughly. Pour the broth into the roux and cook for a while until the sauce thickens.
Add cream and French mustard. Season the sauce with salt and white pepper to taste.
Serve the finished meatballs with the sauce.
