Gosia Cooks: Spaghetti alla Puttanesca
Are you planning to suprise you other half with a romantic cantlelight dinner? On the occasion of the upcoming Women’s and Men’s Day, we have to recipe for Spaghetti alla Puttanesca for you.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g of spaghetti noodles
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 4 anchovy fillets
- 1/2 cup of black olives
- 2 tablespoons of capers
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1 can of chopped tomatoes
- salt, pepper
- parsley
Tips
Boil water in a large pot, add salt, add pasta and cook al dente.
While the pasta is cooking prepare the sauce. In a deep frying pan, fry the chopped onion and garlic in olive oil. Add the chopped anchovy fillets and continue to fry. Then add the drained chopped olives and continue frying, finally add the capers and spices: oregano and chili flakes. Pour everything over the canned tomatoes, mix and bring to a boil. Season with salt.
Add the drained pasta to the sauce, mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Put on a plate, sprinkle with parsley and freshly ground pepper.
