Gosia Cooks: Passover dessert
Everything is ready, but you forgot about dessert? We have one more recipe for you. Here is a quick and effective Passover dessert.
- 3 yolks
- 100 g of powdered sugar
- vanilla pod
- 500 g of Crud Cheese for cheesecake
- 50 g nuts (hazelnuts, cashews, almonds)
- 150 g dried fruits (raisins, apricots, plums, figs)
For decoration: fresh mint leaves, dried apricots, nuts.
Boil water in a large pot. In a metal or glass bowl that will fit the pot in which the water is boiled, beat the egg yolks with powdered sugar and vanilla with a rod (cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape the seeds with the blunt side of the knife).
Then place the bowl over the steam and beat it vigorously for about 4 minutes, until you get a fluffy aerated cream. After this time, remove the bowl and mash the cream for a while longer.
We add the curd in batches. Mix gently until it is combined with the egg mass.
Cut the nuts and dried fruit into smaller pieces. Add to the cheese mass and gently mix all the ingredients.
Put the ready mass into the cups. We decorate the Passover with dried apricots, nuts and mint leaves. We cool in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your meal!
