Gosia Cooks for Christmas: Baked quail with buckwheat
This dish will impress your guests – baked quail with buckwheat, zucchini and dried tomatoes for Christmas dinner!
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 quails
- 100 g of butter
- 1 orange
- salt, granulated garlic, herbal pepper
Additions:
- buckwheat groats
- zucchini
- dried tomatoes
- pickled mushrooms
Tips:
Put a teaspoon of butter under the skin so that it covers the entire breast. Butter the legs and skin on the breast and put a small piece inside the quail, additionally put a slice of orange inside. Sprinkle the quails with salt, herbal pepper and granulated garlic. Tie the legs with string.
Transfer the prepared quails to an ovenproof dish and cover with a lid. Put into the oven preheated to 180 ° C with hot air and bake for 15 minutes. After this time, remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes, until nicely browned.
Baked quails are served hot with your favorite toppings. For example, with buckwheat with zucchini and sun-dried tomatoes. Marinated mushrooms also go well with the dish.
